Fastener Removal

Seized Nut Remover

A controlled solution to remove seized, rusted, or damaged fasteners while protecting the threaded component underneath.

Seized Nut Remover

Seized Nut Remover gives technicians a precision alternative before heat, chisels, grinders, or excessive force. The fixture indexes a milling path into the nut, removes only the fastener material, and allows the nut to open cleanly without sacrificing the shaft, threads, housing, or seals. Because the guide geometry is matched to each fastener, the Seized Nut Remover can also be produced in custom sizes to suit your specific nut.

What the tool is
What it is

A precision fastener-removal fixture engineered for seized, rusted, or damaged nuts where the goal is to remove the nut without collateral damage to the underlying threaded component.

How it works

Position the fixture over the nut. Use the included 8 mm milling tool with a high-speed handheld drill, and drill through the four indexed guide holes in sequence so the cut path stays controlled and repeatable.

Why it works

The guide geometry is matched to the fastener size and thread pitch. The milling tool removes only nut material, relieving the seized fastener so it can open cleanly while the shaft, threads, housings, seals, and nearby surfaces remain protected.

Positioning

A premium shop and field-service method for controlled fastener removal — not a destructive last-resort workaround.

Where it creates value
Designed to avoid
  • Thread, shaft, housing, or seal damage
  • Heat input from a torch
  • Hammering, chiseling, or uncontrolled force
  • Escalation from a localized nut problem into teardown or component replacement
Ideal applications
  • Axle nuts
  • Differential and transmission fasteners
  • Hydraulic lock nuts
  • Hard-to-reach fasteners where other tools fail
