A compact modular tool body for non-destructive restoration of damaged external threads on small-diameter parts. The XR-16 is engineered for Ø 3–16 mm / 1/8"–5/8" threads and supports metric, left-hand metric, and UN / ANSI inch pitches through interchangeable roller sets.

How it works

Select the roller set that matches the thread pitch, position the XR-16 on the damaged thread, and operate the tool by hand. Three rollers engage the existing thread profile and roll deformed material back toward the original geometry.

Why it works

The process is based on controlled cold forming rather than cutting. The rollers reform displaced metal instead of removing additional material, helping preserve component geometry, thread fit, and the original part where restoration is technically appropriate.
